I am Paige K. O’Brien but I like to go by Paiger. I am here to show the world that being different, is okay and there isn’t anything wrong with being different. This is my story where I tell you about my life.

I was born hard of hearing, it wasn’t genetics I just happened to come out of my mom Womb dead and hard of hearing with autism, I lost half my hearing as I got older in my right ear. I now wear what you call a cochlear implant and a hearing aid. Though I’ve always wore hearing aids since I was about 3... But growing up I was always the odd kid, everyone thought I was a freak so they constantly bullied me til one day I told my doctor I wanted to jump into a semi truck and die when I was 6 years old. Since then everyday I realize that no matter what being different is okay and I’m not alone! This is a page where it’s okay to be not normal it’s not a sin to be different because God created us the was he did for a reason!
