Music plays a very big part in the life of many throughout the world, especially at an early age. Being born and raised in the East New York section of Brooklyn, Weas Genius (weez-jeenyuhs) was no stranger to poverty and crime. Using his gift, he chose to elevate and surpass all negativity regardless of the circumstances at hand. Growing up, he had a select list of his favorite rappers which heavily influenced him such as the Notorious B.I.G., Lil Wayne, Nas and the LOX; just to name a few.

As he reached his teenage years, he later moved to South New Jersey to pursue more in life for a better future. He considers music to be his outlet of escape from reality and hardship. In his music, his goal is to portray and relay a message to his listeners because he feels we are currently living in a society where conscious conceptions in lyrics go unnoticed. With his unique and unpredictable wittiness in verses, he plans to make a large impact in the game going forward.
