Life is not airbrushed, it's often messy and complicated; concerned with women's emotional experience, I collage and digitally work with magazine images to create strong edgy female characters.

Those same magazines are used as art journals, pasting and painting over the pages it enables me to explore ideas in a fast, intuitive way.

Each piece is built up from layers of magazine images, advertising text, painted papers and photocopies. Kitchen sink not included.

For my digital art all these elements go into the magic mix of Photoshop to produce the final giclee print which I print myself because I'm geeky about the paper and fussy about getting it just right.

Collages are created on thick mixed media card so they can be propped on a desk or shelf to brighten your day.
