I believe music has power. It can energise + pump us up for a workout, cradle our souls through heartbreak + trauma, slow our racing minds when we become still with meditation or a yoga flow and it definitely can set the tone + mood for our environment.

Happiness is a beautiful scented candle!

If you were to pop round to our house for a coffee visit, you will more than likely be met by my loud crew, sounds of some Spotify tune + the uplifting scent from my favourite candle collection.

Etikette Candles are inspired by ocean sprays, big rains, smokey campfires and winding bush tracks - they share stories of the Australian landscape through the power of scent and memories. And boy do they!

I have been transforming our homes atmosphere + changing the way we feel in our space by lighting these delicious candles for years now. The aromas induce calm + assist in controlling the energy of our mind and pace of our home.

This personal ritual brings relaxation + an exhale of peaceful gratitude. I ground myself in these little obscure moments. My boys are often included either wanting to spark the match to bring the light or extinguish the flame before we settle into our beds.

Although I enjoy the entire range, I undeniably love the Fleurieu in Orange + Vanilla Bean. It reminds me of home.

But first coffee!!!

Finding the perfect coffee house or coffee bean may not be on everyone's list of priorities but for me, it's almost always at the top of mine. I will detour out of my way on a roadtrip to indulge in the perfect cup of coffee! Flat white. Almond milk. No sugar. Is my elixir of choice.

The love + passion for a good cup of coffee is the foundation of a great coffee house and I certainly am grateful to have an abundance of beloved little boutique family owned coffee stops plotted throughout the Adelaide Hills + the flat. And as a Mumma of four I don't play favorites often but I make an exception for my coffee.

We stumbled across the warm + welcoming home of Goodness Coffee Co almost four years ago when we settled down South, after traveling Australia for a while. It has embedded itself firmly into my heart 🤍

When someone makes me a coffee it feels like love. I swear coffee is my love language. Be it my hubby who pours me a cup every morning or the trusted barista at my coffee stop of choice, I feel the love. To me, coffee is absolutely a hug in a mug. It has the essence to wake me up + cheer me on throughout my day. My coffee is a carefully thought out indulgence I gift myself.

Now understanding this, the crew at Goodness are exceptional. Led by their beautiful owners, sibling duo, Angel + JoJo, this is a place that brings deep joy to my soul. Having spent many coffee dates with my hubby or bubbacinos with my kids inside the rustic former blacksmiths workshop, it makes me smile simply at the thought of the place.

And what makes Goodness Coffee Co a little touch above the rest, is simply coffee beans! Chocolatey, rich and velvety goodness 😜
