I am Canadian knitter living in beautiful sunny Australia. I have fought the battle of knitting socks and sweaters in +35° weather for over 15 years. Finally, I have come to learn that there are better options than hoping for one 'cold enough' day to wear all the knitted goods - instead I choose wiser. Thoughtful and realistic pattern choices with suitable yarns to contribute to a year round, warm climate wardrobe.

If you are craving a social space amongst like minded makers, block out the 4th Wednesday of each month. We meet at Bracken Ridge Library from 6 -8 pm. BYO projects and supplies. Throw some questions and ideas around by all means, but know this is not a formal class. No instructions will be given and your project is self led. All skill levels welcome!
