Wilton Virgil

Wilton Virgil is an LA based Americana band that balances strong vocals with emotional grit. Members Kelly Pizzo & Addy Cahill started writing together in 2016, and soon after Wilton Virgil was formed out of a mutual affiliation for bad habits and good music.
In the following years, through multiple heartbreaks, personal struggles, and life changes, the band continued to change and hone their sound. The result is a musical style that blends the intimacy of folk music, the recklessness of outlaw country, and the energy of rock 'n' roll (plus some strong blues & jazz influences).
Inspired by the likes of Brandi Carlile, Sturgill Simpson, Sarah Shook and the Disarmers, Dan Auerback, and of course Dolly Parton, Wilton Virgil creates music that speaks to both the beautiful, and less-than-beautiful, sides of the human experience. Their upcoming debut album explores themes of romance, vices, and personal resilience. Wilton Virgil’s music is brought life by the guitar work of John Jalandoni (Night Darling), grounded by drummer Piero Perelli (*projects*), and featuring instrumentals from Ozzy *Lastname* (*projects*), and Lye.ll, with production by Lucas Abend (Night Darling, Snugs) and Lye.ll.
