About Me

Hi, I’m Ruth & I want to help make walks fun for you and your furry friend! 👋

I grew up with an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix and was a part-time dog walker/pet sitter at daycares and boarding kennels in the city while attending university, in addition to fostering and volunteering with the Toronto Humane Society. 🐾

Over the last year and a half I've been training my rescue dog Corn alongside the help of our own trainer. He struggles with reactivity on leash and walks with him used to stress me out but with support and lots of reps practicing the basics, walks have turned into something that we now both enjoy! 🥰

I’m excited about the opportunity to work with many new dogs and learn about all their quirks! Seeing how they each take in the world is fascinating and helps develop my skills as a dog walker/handler and I want to help owners get a step ahead with training by teaching their dogs how to walk nicely on leash. 🦮

Having your pup walk nicely on leash is a skill that helps empower you to take their training to the next level and I want to help connect you to certified trainers/programs that would best suit you and your dogs unique needs to take things to the next level.

I firmly believe that every dog deserves to be trained and it doesn't take a lot to get started. I will share some tips on how to get more out of each walk with you dog and how even a few minutes out of your day can make the world of a difference to your pups overall well-being ☺️🧡
