About Me

My name is Yasmine Nahdi, and I am a fourth year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English with a specialization in future teaching at the University of California, Irvine.

I currently work as a Marketing and Communications Assitant for the UCI Admissions Office. I am Editor-in-Chief and Communications Director for Her Campus at UCI as well as the Marketing Coordinator for the UCI Anthology Yearbook, and I recently completed a year and a half long research project on the 1977 National Women's Conference under the UCI Humanities Center. I previously worked as a Social Media Marketing Engagement intern for the LA-based tech coverage company DotLA and a Communications
intern for the UCI Paul Merage School of Business.

Academically, I am interested in 21st-century contemporary literature, immigrant literature, and Arab (Middle Eastern and North African) literature and studies. My professional interests include editorial writing, copy editing, social media and marketing, critical entertainment writing, personal essays, publishing, and communications.
