Mental Health Workshop
A Guide Towards Anxiety
The second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on the health of a huge population not only physically but also mentally. We’ve all been locked up once again in our homes suddenly when everything seemed to be returning to normal and amidst lockdown, stress and anxiety has increased at a higher rate. The constant fear of the virus, maintaining distance from our closed ones, unavailability of the resources, spending a lot of time on social media are one of the many reasons that contribute to distress during this challenging time. Therefore, it is very important now more than ever that we look after our mental well-being.
Youth Thinkers Society (YTS) is conducting a virtual workshop “A Mental Guide to Anxiety” in collaboration with Labhya Foundation that aims to spread mental health awareness and make ourselves less stressed during these trying times. Furthermore, it aims to reduce the stigmas and myths related to mental health, understand COVID related anxiety and practice gratitude journaling, mindfulness exercises and coping mechanisms with the guidance of the facilitator.
Let’s take a step towards positivity and mindfulness.
