Looking 2Learn was founded in Ladismith. It started as an idea and energy shared amongst women friends in Ladismith, wanting to learn together. Yvette siezed an opportunity to showcase the rich array of skills and talent available in Ladismith. Motivated by personal experiences having lived through decades of severe dissociative and suicidal challenges, her unique sense of valuing seeing time and background in education brought the idea to life.
L2L aims to support teachers and knowledge experts individuals with vast experience and create unique learning experiences for curious individuals.

Make it Rain, is a way of operating and seeing, as a local business owner and community member, where Rain/ Flow is needed and taking steps to bring it on... creatively, sustainably and with good intentions!
Currently, portions of sales of products sold in Ladismith by 3sons Karoo Studio will be redistributed to causes, projects and individual startups identified in the area.
With the right support and sustainable business and strategy, Make it Rain aims to mirror and expand on the culture of kindness already embedded in our community.

Between 2019 and 2020, Jo Petzer and Yvette Hess collaborated research based graphic design skills with artistic inspiration. Jo comes with over 20 years in the graphic design space, specializing in working with small to medium sized business as well as in the publishing industry. Yvette Hess, fine artist and writer uses her expressive energy to assist business owners stand out and be unique. Together, they enjoy being mavericks and coming up with wonderful and impactful brand design for their clients.

In 2019, during my year of study at Ruth Prowse School of Art, together with 5 other students, we successfully conceptualized, curated and setup 2 group exhibitions in Cape Town - at Gallery MOMO and The Westin.
