Zachary Scott grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. He’s worked in the geriatric field, food service, horticulture and landscaping. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Florida State University where he studied with James Kimbrell. His first collection of poems was published in the chapbook “Boys as Tethered Dogs” through Tallahassee’s own, Apalachee Press. His work can be read in the review, Leavings, in the Oakland Arts Review, in the Panacea Review, and the Apalachee Press Review.
