Hi! My name is Zara Duque Vasquez, and I am running for Student Council President. I believe that my experience and personality will help me offer new ideas for student council. Above all, I believe my most important job will be to listen to you and communicate with you regularly. Here are a few ideas I believe we can achieve together:

- Have more spirit nights/weeks
-Have a student of the month
- Have Grade level competitions
- Pijama Day
-Field Day
-Have phones out during lunch
-Mixed recess
-Candy Grams

As you can see, the future of this school year depends on our ability to work together. Cooperation and teamwork will get us far. If you elect me as your Student Council president, I hope to try my hardest to lead 8th grade with openness and honesty.
