Soundbath

What is a Soundbath?

A Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body experience that intentionally uses sound and vibration to invite gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative processes to nurture your mind, body, spirit, and soul.

The experience begins with each person lying down or seated in a comfortable position. After a few minutes of guided focus on the breath, the remainder of the experience is filled with different sounds and frequencies being introduced in succession.

The sounds are created by a variety of overtone-emitting instruments including quartz crystal singing bowls and other sacred instruments.

The sounds introduced during a Soundbath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and gain perspective on what’s going on within you.

The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery. In this relaxed state, a person's own innate healing abilities are able to work more effectively to bring the person back into optimal vibrational alignment that enhances overall health and well-being.

During sessions with Lynn, she plays seven different 432 hz quartz bowls that are specific note for each if the seven main chakras.

These quartz crystal bowls are tuned to the 432 Hz scale. Our bodies function in harmonic balance, and sound affects us at both the conscious and unconscious levels. What are Chakras?

Did you know each chakra (aka energy centers in the body) is associated with a particular physical, emotional, and spiritual function within the body?

When your chakras become out of balance or blocked due to fear-based thoughts, trapped emotions, traumas, or repressed energy, it can affect your interactions with the world, your health, in relationships, and within yourself.

There are seven main chakras situated along the spine, from the base of your spine to the crown of your head.

The seven chakras are the main energy centers of the body. You've probably heard people talk about "unblocking" their chakras, which refers to the idea that when all of our chakras are open, energy can run through them freely and harmony exists between the physical body, mind, and spirit.

What are the 7 main chakras?
The chakras refer to the energy centers we have in our bodies. There are seven major chakras, each in a specific location along your spine. Let’s look at each one more closely.

❤️ Root Chakra
The root chakra is located at the base of your spine and provides you with a base or foundation for life, and it helps you feel grounded and able to withstand challenges. Your root chakra is responsible for your sense of security and stability.

🧡 Sacral Chakra
The sacral chakra is located just below your belly button and is responsible for your creative and sexual energy. It’s also linked to how you relate to your emotions, as well as, the emotions of others.

💛 Solar Plexus Chakra
The solar plexus chakra is located in your stomach area and is responsible for confidence and self-esteem, as well as helping you feel in control of your life.

💚 Heart Chakra
The heart chakra is located near your heart, in the center of your chest and is all about our ability to love and show compassion.

💙 Throat Chakra
The throat chakra is located in your throat and has to do with our ability to communicate verbally.

The third eye chakra is located between your eyes. You can thank this chakra for a strong gut instinct. That’s because the third eye is responsible for intuition.
