Hello! I’m Zoe!

I am a multigenerational Australian Labradoodle living on Long Island, NY. I was born on April 11, 2018. My mom and I are a certified pet therapy team through Love on a Leash visiting nursing homes and hospitals.

Some of my favorite pastimes are playing fetch, running on the beach, and napping in mom’s lap. I hope you enjoy my journey and adventures. Take a look. ➡️

My favorite pastimes

One of my favorite things is going to the beach. I live on Long Island so there is water in every direction, Long Island Sound to the north and multiple bays and the Atlantic Ocean to the east and to the south. I am not a swimmer and not fond of the water but I Iove to feel the sand under my paws.

Another one of my favorite things is playing ball. It doesn’t matter what ball, any will do. If I could, I would play fetch all day long.

For fun I go to a trick dog class once a week that my trainer teaches for all of the pet therapy teams. We do different things such as open mail boxes and obstacle courses. It’s a time to relax, socialize and have fun.

Service Dog in Training (SDiT)

Zoe is in training to be an allergen detection service dog for her human mom who has severe allergies and asthma.

It is a long process and hopefully one day Zoe will graduate from in training to qualified service dog. Follow our journey on Instagram.
