I grew up in country Queensland, reading all the books I could get my hands on, riding motorbikes and playing a lot of online games.

After finishing boarding school in Townsville I made my way to Brisbane to study Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of Queensland. I wasn't sure I wanted to become a researcher or doctor, but I knew I was passionate about science and incredibly interested in the developing field of nutrigenomics.

Almost one year in, I met some of the folks at Uber. I couldn't not jump at the opportunity to get involved - to me, Uber was pure magic. That led to a whirlwind six years working on markets around the world; it was the people and experiences I got from Uber that then led me to join Square Peg as an investor.

Being at Square Peg brings me back to two of the things I'm most passionate about: the world of tech and startups.

Outside of tech and startups, some of the things I never stop talking about include: SciFi, gaming, VR, politics and why everyone should visit regional QLD at least once.
