coworker exchanges
Coworker exchanges (peer supervision) are designed as a benefit to you (free bodywork!) and as a means of cultivating an integrative, therapeutic, and non-competitive working environment at Metta. We encourage you to share feedback with each other, learn from each other, and talk your fellow coworkers up to clients and prospective clients!
Every therapist should give and receive 1 coworker evaluation session each month. When you are receiving, that session is free to you! You are expected to complete the “coworker evaluation” form below.
When you are giving, you will be paid $45 for a 60-min session, $52.50 for a 75-min session, or $60 for a 90-min session.
NO TIPS.
Please see the “exchange schedule” to find your assigned therapist each month. You are responsible for booking yourself with your assigned coworker, using one of the “book” links below.
If you are unable to book an available time with your assigned coworker for the month, please reach out to your coworker to try to arrange a special time. If you still cannot find a time, then contact management.
apprenticeship exchanges
Apprenticeship exchanges are between apprentices and owners only. (You get to participate in the coworker exchanges too!) These sessions are meant for skills-building in a more collaborative way than the coworker exchanges (which are mostly about self-care and getting to know each other).
During an apprenticeship exchange, you and the owner will usually both give and receive bodywork, though the amount of time is decided upon based on your needs. In each exchange, you should review:
1. SOAP notes & client sessions/questions
2. Body mechanics/dynamics & therapist care
3. One or two skills that the apprentice and owner agree will be beneficial to the apprentice
YOU are responsible for scheduling these. Please make your best effort to schedule 1 per week with each owner on a rotating basis, so that you will work with each owner about once per month.
You will be paid $16.83/hr for you time in these sessions. These are 2 hours long by default, but may be longer or shorter by mutual agreement. At the end of your session, the owner will complete an assessment form (linked below). You can see a list of skills to review on that form. You won’t work with every skill every time — and that’s ok! Pick one or two as a focus for each exchange.
Use the booking link below to schedule an “Apprentice Exchange”. If you need to change the length of the session, it can be done manually in Vagaro.

Reimbursements
Use this link to submit a receipt or expense for reimbursement. Eligible expenses include:
• PPE up to $15/mo
• duplicate license (once per renewal cycle, or if your personal info changes)
• mileage reimbursement for business errands
• any expenses for the business paid on a personal account
Business Receipts
If you use the business debit or credit card, please email your receipt (ASAP) to receipts@metta-wellness.com. You may forward an email receipt, or send the receipt as a photo or attachment.
