Caitie Gutierrez (they/fae) is a mental health consumer advocate, digital creator, and writer from Lenapehoking (New York) who has been living on Gadigal Land (Sydney) for the last 6 years. As a queer and biracial Nuyorican with c-PTSD and chronic illness, they draw on their lived experiences of complex trauma to explore topics like mental health, chronic illness, queerness, grief & loss, suicide, intergenerational trauma, ancestral healing, and dismantling internet cults through writing and memes full of childhood nostalgia.

Caitie was featured in the Emerging Writer's Festival in 2020 and 2021 - one of Australia’s most established and well-respected literary festivals that exists to develop, nurture and promote Australia’s new writing talent, creating platforms for connecting writing communities and their audiences.
