A virus, that was spreading across the nation rapidly, caused me to turn down multiple job opportunities. My parents did not want me working during such a vulnerable and hard time. I started thinking of ways I could make money on my own, having my own business. Candles came to mind because it was more out of the box and unique. I don’t see many candle makers in my community so I took it upon myself to get to work and learn the material I needed. Once I learned the techniques and important things, I knew I was set and ready to take it seriously.
