Short bio: Born and raised in San Diego, California, I’m a Cali girl through and through. I graduated from Point Loma High School and studied Business Management and Marketing at Sacramento State University. Besides being an exceptional business school, I moved to Sacramento after high school because I wanted to see the Sacramento Kings play (I even met Mike Bibby).

Growing up, I had just a few close friends. I was an only child to a single mother who was a legal secretary at a law firm. I grew up around attorneys and eventually worked with those attorneys as a Case Manager. Despite my legal experience, my heart was always in business and technology.

My mother passed away when I was 15. She was a single mother who worked hard to raise me. After her passing, I battled depression and anxiety, with occasional struggles to this day. The one thing that’s helped me with grief is releasing her poetry on her birthday in 2020.

After years of sales and customer service, I got into marketing and marketing technology in 2012. A few years later, I became a full-time freelancer, working from anywhere I wanted helping business owners with digital marketing strategies, copywriting, community building, and social media marketing.

I’ve lived in San Diego, Sacramento, Houston, and Phoenix. When I’m not working, I’m watching reality TV, on social media, cooking, meditating, walking in nature, immersed in tech, or journaling.
