3 Tips on Selling your house

How to make you home more attractive to future buyers?

When you are looking to sell your home, contact Greg Chin and he will provide honest feedback as well as a clear marketing plan to sell your home. Here are the 3 Tips for future home sellers:

#1 Don’t over price your home

When you choose to list your home, over pricing your home may exclude yourself home because they even start looking. If you and a neighbor had the same exact house on similar lots with the same features, your overpriced home will only make your neighbor’s house more attractive.

#2 Fix and repair known issues

A well maintained home is more marketable then one that is not. I recommend getting a pre-home inspection to understand if there are major call outs and offer a home warranty to future home owners. Get ahead of it - It is going to be caught in your buyer’s home inspection. Shift your point of view and ask yourself, would a new home owner want to deal with it when they move in?

#3 Declutter, Clean and Pack Up

Stage your home as if a new home owner would live in it. Remove any personal belongings so the future homeowners can imagine themselves living there. You want future home owners to see the quality of your home and not your clutter.
