Hi, I’m Samantha

A seasoned public relations professional with over 11 years of experience, having worked both in-house at the National Gallery of Victoria, and at several leading PR agencies before launching a consulting service - KOMMUNIKACIO.

Specialising in the art, design, fashion & lifestyle sectors, my approach is guided by authenticity and purposeful storytelling. I’m most inspired by the makers and creators behind each idea - their history, experiences, inspirations and motivations - placing greater value on communicating the purpose of and intrinsic value of each creation to deliver impactful media coverage for your brand.

Having spent 8 years working my way up from an intern to an agency account director, I saw an opportunity to challenge the traditional agency business model —making PR and the client experience more affordable, personal and educational.

Recognising its not always economically feasible or necessary for businesses, particularly smaller or niche brands, to retain ongoing services of a PR agency, I focused on curating a flexible and attainable approach to pricing and services.

My goal is to enable artists, independent creatives and design-led businesses, the ability to access experienced and specialised PR services, that are typically out of reach for many, without compromising on quality or budget.
