Try a natural approach to beautiful lashes

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗌𝗿 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗲𝘀

Amanda is certified for lash Lift/Tint/Brow Lamination and uses a Vegan Keratin Cysteamine system that is for all hair types, won't damage the hair that offers beautiful lifts. It leaves hairs healthier after the lift than before. Hairs are benefited at the core with scientifically & clinically proven ingredients that instantly and over the following weeks Thicken, Lengthen & Condition them. No homecare is necessary, it's that Fabulous! If you don't just want a beautiful lift but healthy lashes this is for you.

With cysteamine-based lifting solutions, the question of how damaging they are becomes obsolete as they are nourishing for lashes instead! This means they not only pamper regular lashes but also restore the structure of VERY damaged (over-processed) lashes! When you work with cysteamine-based lifting solutions, you have a guarantee not to over-process and safely rescue lashes that have been over-processed with harsh lifting lotions. How cool is that!

After care is simple: no heat, sauna, steam water, lotions, oils, creams, shampoos, face cleansers, makeup remover wipes or pads on lashes for 12-24 hours. Avoid oily face washes as they can cause lashes to drop prematurely. Following these precautions ensures the Lash Lift and Tint lasts as long as possible. Your next service will depend on how long your natural lashes shed. typically 6-8 weeks but gentle enough to do monthly.

Brow Lamination/Tint Info

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧?
Amanda is certified for Lash Lift Tint/ Hybrid Tint/ Traditional Tint/ Brow lamination and uses quality professional grade products to achieve great results. Brow Lamination is a non-invasive, perm-like hair treatment that involves styling the eyebrow hair into the desired shape, making it look polished and sleek. The process helps the eyebrow hairs stay in place and helps unruly brows hold their shape. The treatment can sometimes be paired with a brow tint to give you the look of fluffy fuller brows.

Brow lamination is also suggested for people from thinning or unruly eyebrows, as well as those who want to wear less makeup and save time in the mornings before leaving the house.

Designing your perfect brows is more than just a wax. Your natural brows growth pattern and face shape are key for your eyebrow shape and arch. When tinting, your hair color, skin tone and your personal preference determine the custom color that makes your brows their best. Tint typically last between 3-5 weeks and brow lamination typically last between 4-6 weeks.

𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐚𝐫 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐋𝐚𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐚:
Psoriasis/Eczema, Recent eye surgery, Alopecia affecting the brow area, Recent permanent make up (must be healed by 6 weeks), Current sunburn, Ultra-sensitive skin, Blood thinners, Pink eye, Accutane (consult your physician first). If pregnant please consult with your physician first.

𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞:
Proper aftercare is important for maintaining the results of your brow lamination procedure, which typically lasts between 4-6 weeks. Without the use of oils to support the eyebrows, the results may not last as long. I personally recommend using organic cold pressed castor oil. You will need to buy a small bottle before your appointment. You can either buy it through my Amazon Store or just go to your local store (Target and Fred Meyers have it).

𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀:
⭐Do not wet your eyebrows for at least 24 hours after the treatment.

⭐Condition your brows daily with a nourishing oil

⭐Brush your brows daily

⭐Avoid hot baths/showers, saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for 24 hours.

⭐Avoid fake tanning products

⭐Refrain from wearing eye makeup for 12 hours and use oil-free makeup remover when necessary.

⭐Avoid touching or rubbing the eye or eyebrow area to prevent irritation.

⭐Limit exposure to direct sunlight to avoid weakening the perm effect and fading the tint color.

⭐Avoid using chlorine and certain skincare products, as they may shorten the effects of the perm and tints.

⭐⭐⭐ Be sure to schedule regular touch-up appointments. You can book online or in person after your appointment

A cosmetic lip tattoo is a great long-lasting solution for anyone who wants to even out the color of their lips and give their lips an attractive pop of color, an illusion of extra volume, and camouflage minor imperfections.

As a necessary precaution, you MUST take an anti-viral medication for atleast a total of 5 days prior to procedure (Examples of antiviral medications: Zovirax, Famvir or Valtrex, .) There are absolutely NO exceptions to this rule! This rule holds true for each and every time you have any lip tattoo. You will need to contact your physician in order to obtain your prescription strength anti-viral medication. You must inform them of your decision to have permanent cosmetics applied to your lips and they will need to call your prescription in for you to pick up at your pharmacy.

𝗣𝗥𝗘-𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘

If you have ever in your entire life had a cold sore, a prescription/anti-viral medication MUST be picked up and started before your treatment.

You may awaken an outbreak following this treatment. It is highly recommended to take an antiviral five days before, then day of. Then five days after or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist.

It should also be noted that simple virus herpes may lay dormant in your body. Clients who have never experienced a cold sore may awaken an outbreak following this treatment.

Do not get lip injections for 4 weeks before and after this treatment

Avoid exercising day of procedure

Do not take or get any chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, vitamin E, retinal, fish oil, at least four weeks before your appointment

No ibuprofen, aspirin, Advil, vitamin E, unless medically necessary 48 to 72 hours prior to your procedure. Extra strength Tylenol can be taken if you have a low pain tolerance

No caffeine or alcohol 48 hours before procedure (yes there is caffeine in decaf coffee and tea!)

Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure

Be sure to moisturize lips one week before appointment. Exfoliate lips morning and night with sugar and olive oil two days before appointment. Dry lips are extremely hard to work on and our appointment maybe cut short of pigment cannot be implanted properly

Show up to your appointment with moisturize lips and your favorite(s) lipstick colors or lipstick stains. Please do NOT come to your appointment with any lipstick ON the lips. Wiping/rubbing the lipstick off to see your natural lip color will give us a false starting base.

𝗣𝗢𝗊𝗧-𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗘

Day of treatment

Fluids will leak from the tattoo to form scabs. You do not want these fluids to sit on your tattoo and form these scabs. You will want to wipe your tattoo every hour with a wet cotton round and pat the area dry to ensure no fluids sit and form scabs.

You may ice the skin if it is feeling tender or swollen after the procedure. Wrap an ice pack or a ziplock of ice in a napkin and place on the area for as long as desired.

Day 2-10

Do not touch your tattoo with dirty fingers, remember it is an opened and healing wound. An infection could possibly ruin the tattoo.

Don’t get your tattoo too wet for too long. It will make the flakes soggy and easier to fall off prematurely. Moisturize with the recommended or provided ointment frequently. Do not sleep on your face to avoid lifting your flakes prematurely and make sure you’re sleeping on a clean pillowcase to avoid infection.

Avoid harsh cleansers, creams, makeup, or any other products on the treated area until all the flakes have naturally fallen off. These things can jeopardize the healing of the tattoo.

Don’t pick, scratch or bite off the flakes. Let the flakes fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring, loss of pigment, or an infection.

Do not expose your tattoo to UV rays or tanning beds for 4 weeks after the procedure. These things can alter the appearance of your tattoo dramatically.

Do not sweat on the tattoo until all the flakes have come off naturally. Sweat will take the pigment from your tattoo. If you do sweat on them, dab it off immediately.

Do not get any facials, Botox, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks post appointment date.

After Flaking Phase:

Once the flakes have completely fallen off, you may apply makeup over the area and return back to your normal routine. Note that after the flakes come off your tattoo may have a milky/grey hue to it. This just means that the surface skin is healed but the underneath layers still need time to heal.

The complete healing process takes 6 weeks. At 6 weeks the true and final color of the tattoo will show. It is only after 6 weeks that a touchup to the tattoo can be done.

Please note that your tattoo will be softer and not as crisp when healed.

Note that results will vary with each individual and are extremely dependent on your skin and how you care for it during healing.

It may take more than one session to achieve your desired result.

To help you get the best results possible from your PMU (Permanent Makeup) procedure, here is the formula that will help to ensure you get the best results possible.

Be sure to also fill out the consent form before your appointment.
*If you have not filled out the form, it is located at the link LunaLuxeBeauty.com

The Prep:

If you’ve ever hired a professional painter they will tell you that “it’s all in the prep”. Professional painters know that they get the best results when they spend extra time sanding, filling holes, making sure edges are smooth and applying the right primer. Well, permanent makeup is very similar. You will get much better results when you properly prep. It all starts with a good canvas! The procedure area must be healthy, strong, non-sensitive and non-irritated. Here’s how to get your skin ready for the procedure.

• Do not pick/tweeze/wax/perform electrolysis one week before the procedure

• Do not tan two weeks prior or have sunburned face/skin

• Do not have any type of facial 2 weeks prior to treatment

• Do not work out the day of the procedure.

• Do not have botox 3 weeks prior

• Do not take Fish Oil or Vitamin E one week prior (natural blood thinners)

• Do not wax or tint your eyebrows 3 days before the procedure.

In order to avoid excessive bleeding and poor colour deposit:

• Do not drink alcohol 24 - 48 hours before your tattoo

• Do not consume coffee or any caffeine before your procedure

• Do not take an aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief (this thins the blood)

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲
Now that you know what NOT to do, it’s time to share my secret recipe for amazing PMU results! I love a good acronym so here’s one to help you out, just think of A - W - M which stands for Absorb, Wash, Moisturize!

The day of the treatment: Absorb

Gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day until oozing has stopped.  Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph.

Days 1-7: Wash

Wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. (Don't worry...THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!)

Gently wash your procedure area each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap like Dial Soap, Cetaphil or Neutrogena. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the affected area. Rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants.

Days 1-7: Moisturize

Apply a rice grain amount of the Aftercare ointment that you recieved that was given to you in your aftercare kit with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area. Be sure not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin. Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.

AWM should have you covered, but here are some extra tips to help with a smooth and easy recovery:

Important Reminders

• Use a fresh pillowcase

• Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour

• No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks

• Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week

• Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors.

• Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days.

• Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days

• Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for the first 10 days

• Avoid topical makeup including sunscreen on the area

• DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area.

Remember, with the proper prep and aftercare routine you will have much better results with your microblading procedure. Don’t forget your new favourite acronym: AWM - Absorb, Wash, Moisturize!

Important note about showering:

Limit your showers to 5 minutes so you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face, or procedure area, should only be getting wet at the very last end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.

• KEEP AREA CLEAN and open to the air. Do not cover with a Band-Aid or anything else. Air/oxygen provides good and faster healing.

• CLEANSE THE AREA 4x a day with saline wash. Dampen a paper towel or cotton round with saline wash and blot the area 4x a day. Make sure you wash your hands directly before cleansing the area.

• DO NOT SOAK the treated area in water. You can shower as normal, but keep the area out of the show spray the best you can and do not let the area stay wet for more than a few minutes. It is best to keep it dry but if you do get it wet, gently pat dry.

• NO BATHING, SWIMMING, SAUNAS, HOT TUBS, TANNING, OR EXERCISE. NO EXCEPTIONS.

• DO NOT disrupt the scabbing process. (i.e. no picking, scratching, etc.) All scabbing needs to fall off naturally. If you force or pick a scab off, you will disrupt the process and possibly cause scarring. It is critical to keep the scabs on as long as possible to achieve optimum results.

• TREAT AREA WITH TLC. Do not do anything at all that could cause issues or problems to the treated area.

• ONCE ALL SCABBING HAS NATURALLY FALLEN OFF, apply one Vitamin E Oil 3 to 4 times throughout the day for a minimum of 4 weeks, or until next lightening session. DO NOT start applying oil until all scabbing has naturally and completely fallen off. It is our goal to keep the area as dry as possible until all scabs have naturally fallen off.

• Absolutely NO pet grooming, gardening, dusting, or anything that causes dust, dirt and dander for a minimum of 72 hours. Waiting 5 full days is best. Wearing glasses outdoors is a good way to protect healing eyeliner.   NO EXERCISING FOR 10 DAYS
NO EXCEPTIONS.  DO NOT DO ANY ACTIVITY THAT CAUSES SWEAT IN THE AREA OF THE PROCEDURE OR YOUR FACE TO HEAT UP AND TURN RED.  ABSOLUTLY NO LAKE ACTIVITIES. DO NOT GO TO THE LAKE OR BEACH.  NO HORSEBACK RIDING, NO CAMPING OR RIDING ATVS.  NO NOTHING OF THIS SORT.  DON’T’ DO IT!  STAY OUT OF THE SUN!  KEEP IT PROTECTED AND KEEP IT CLEAN!   TLC FOR YOUR NEW PROCEDURE.

• During your healing process DO NOT expose your new procedures to chemicals, hot tubs, saunas, direct shower spray, hot water, salt water, chlorinated pools, lakes, or ponds.   Direct sun exposure and tanning beds should be avoided indefinitely
.both are counter-productive to the cosmetic procedure.

• Absolutely NO topical makeup on the healing procedure(s) for a minimum of 5 days. Topical makeup is bacterial and your new procedures(s) need adequate time to heal to avoid irritation and/or infection. You may apply your makeup around the new procedure area but avoid applying ON the healing areas.

• No tweezing or waxing the eyebrows for 10 full days.  NO FACIAL, PEELS OR ANY OF THAT FACE STUFF FOR TWO FULL WEEKS!

• Some tenderness, puffiness (even bruising), redness, and itching is quite normal for the tattoo healing process. DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR SCRATCH the treated area as this could result in your color healing uneven, as well as the risk of scarring and infection.

• It is important to the process and integrity of the skin that 8 full weeks of healing take place before another lightening session can be done. No exceptions

• Lightening unwanted pigment is a long process and patience is required. This is true whether you are choosing a saline lightening product or laser.  Please be patient and give the process a fair chance to work.  Expect visible and wanted results in 2 to 5 sessions.  How many sessions needed will depend on how saturated the pigment is, how deep it was implanted and how much needs to be lightened for the desired result.  In many cases only a percentage of the pigment needs to be lightened and then we can continue the correction process by color correcting or color shifting.  In those cases where we have pigment misplaced or in an unwanted area, color correcting will not be an option and lightening as much of the pigment as possible will be our ultimate goal.

• Results cannot be foreseen, predicted or guaranteed.
