MY STORY

Hi, I’m Sophia 👋🏽

I spent my twenties on auto pilot, considering myself an ambitious person who would stop at nothing to achieve my dreams and goals. However, the same nagging narrative would creep in. IF I move to a big city, THEN I’ll be happy. IF I land my dream job, THEN I’ll be happy. IF I meet new people, THEN I’ll be happy. Well, I moved to London, worked in industries from Marketing to Publishing to TV Production and met lots of new friends…

You can imagine what happened next? At the age of 28, I experienced burnout, completely fatigued by the intense pressures I had put myself under and a feeling of disconnect had caught up with me.

I had been meditating on and off for years using apps like headspace and insight timer but not with any routine in place however it took a literal break away from everything I had built up to reconnect with myself, my values and what I truly wanted for my life. During my solo travels and my time away, I discovered mindfulness and with it’s large body of scientific research, I was curious to find out more. I had built up a strong mindfulness practice that was unwavering through life’s ups and downs and I wanted to bring this back with me and apply what I had learnt to the modern stresses of every day life...

Fast forward to 2021 and I am now a qualified Mindfulness teacher and mindset coach helping other twenty something’s reconnect with their goals, develop a strong mindfulness practice that sticks! Lead more connected and happy lives.

And truly learn to love and live in the NOW!
