For piercing appointments or jewelry changes, you MUST show a valid photo ID.
driver’s license, passport, or another state-issued ID card that shows your photo AND birth date.

Minor w/ Parent

WV State Law requires anyone under 18 years of age to have a parent or legal guardian PRESENT IN PERSON at the time of the appointment who can give written consent with:

• photo ID of child (may use school ID, permit, passport, or yearbook photo that shows their full name)

• Copy of minor’s Birth Certificate

• Adult: Valid photo ID that shows matching full name OR address
(if full name/address do not match the birth certificate: must verify relationship via marriage certificate, change of name, divorce papers, adoption papers, etc.)

FAQ’s

Can you use my personal jewelry to pierce with?

Unfortunately, no! All jewelry in fresh piercings (including downsizes) must be completed using brand new, sterilized pieces that are verified in quality and finish from reputable companies to avoid liability and healing issues. Using outside jewelry in piercings will only be considered if the jewelry is new, unworn, in its original packaging, is autoclave-safe, and a receipt is provided from a reputable company that can provide proper mill certificates.

What is the weight limit on your chair? And can I bring a friend to sit with me?

Our massage table can accommodate a maximum weight capacity up to 450 lbs. Only ONE guest is permitted in the piercing area at a time to spectate and may not share massage table space. VIDEO AND PHOTO RECORDING IS NOT PERMITTED during the procedure, though photos may be taken afterwards! This is a safety, sterility, and liability issue, as well as an issue of personal comfort for your piercer.

7 Day Piercing Policy:

We offer free assistance for any issues with your new piercing within 7 days of the initial appointment including:
- unhappy with placement/symmetry
- embedded jewelry / longer posts
- reinstalling dislodged jewelry (must have original pieces)

After 7 days, service fees may apply for:
- jewelry changes
- tapering
- replacement posts
- other adjustments

Why do I need to pay a booking fee? Is it refundable?

A booking fee is a promise of future payment and will be taken off of the final price of your procedure, day of your appointment. Putting down a booking fee secures your date/time window for appointment so no one else can take your place. Your artist will block this portion of their day off specifically for you.

Not showing up to your appointment (whether because you are nervous, forgot, or had something come up last minute) causes your artist to miss out on income vital to the success of their career!

Jewelry Warranties, Returns, & Refunds

The reputable companies we use guarantee all jewelry against manufacturing defects and will replace or alter any item at their discretion.

Limited warranties start on the date of your purchase and last for as long as you own the product.

WARRANTIES DO NOT COVER LOSS, or DAMAGE DUE TO:
- transportation
- storage
- improper use
- exposure to solvents or chemicals
- failure to follow product instructions to perform any preventative maintenance
- modifications
- unauthorized repair
- normal wear and tear
- external causes such as accidents, abuse, or other actions or events beyond our reasonable control

Client Conduct Policies

Sexual harassment or predatory / abusive behavior towards staff or other clients IN OR OUT of the studio will not be tolerated and will result in a permanent ban from further services.

Including but not limited to:
Innapropriate attempts to touch staff or yourself.

Comments of a sexually explicit nature (in person, on the phone, or online).

Innapropriate contact of staff outside of professional / business platforms.

Profane, threatening, intimidating, harassing, or hateful language or behavior.

THE NIGHT BEFORE:
Drink plenty of water the night before and arrive to your appointment well-rested and sober. Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages for at least 12 hours before your appointment - as it could still cause your blood to thin the following day. As a reminder - we will not pierce anyone who is intoxicated, hungover, or overly disruptive.

DAY OF:
You may expect to be in the shop from 45 minutes - 1 hour.

Please note: For safety and focus, no children under 16 are permitted in the studio unless they have a scheduled appointment.

• Clothing Choice and Makeup: Wear comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the area being pierced and will not cause pressure or friction against your piercing. Avoid wearing foundation or makeup in the area that is being pierced; we will need to clean the area and this will be removed during the process.

• Practice good hygiene! Shower or bathe prior to your appointment and brush your teeth - especially for oral piercings - so you feel refreshed!

• Nourishment and Meds: Make sure you eat before your appointment and do not drink caffeine. Avoid taking any OTC blood-thinners or anti-inflammatories beforehand as they may cause excess bleeding. Please inform your piercer of any disorders or conditions you have or any antibiotics or medications you take that could affect healing or the procedure.

• You cannot be pierced if you are pregnant or nursing. You must wait at least 1 year after most surgeries or procedures (cosmetic or otherwise) to be pierced in the area in which the procedure was performed. Always consult with your physician, specialist, or service-provider beforehand to see if receiving a piercing under these mentioned conditions will work for you.

PAYMENT:
We accept payment through cash, digital (CashApp, PayPal, or Venmo). Sales tax is charged on jewelry and aftercare purchases. We do NOT accept card.
