Cleansing
Spells are enhanced and locked to protect your items against routine cleansing of negative energies. If someone has touched or worn your enchanted jewellery, you may cleanse them by smudging (Palo Santo or Sage), using a Singing Bowl or other methods that you prefer.

Enchantment
Spells are effective for approximately three to six months with some exceptions that may last up to a year.

You may observe the depletion of energy in your enchanted jewellery if you are sensitive to energies.

Do not worry if you are not, you may still observe decrease or absence of spell effects overtime due to energy depletion. This will be a sign to replace or request for recasting of spell.

Recasting of Spells
There is no complimentary recasting of spells offered at the moment, do inquire on the current rates when its due.

925 sterling silver is almost pure silver, 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. Pure silver is far too soft to be used in jewellery. It's likely to have a lesser reaction to water.

This means that it's completely okay to get this type of sterling silver wet. Just be sure to dry it off as much as possible after!

In situations, such as hand washing or shower, where the silver is mildly exposed to water or less harsh chemicals, it's unlikely that damage will occur.

However, if you let your sterling silver sit in water for too long, the metal can begin to oxidize and tarnish.

Typically, pool or hot tub water is treated with chlorine, your sterling silver jewellery will be at a higher risk for color change. The silver will react with the chlorine and leave behind a new color that may take some major cleaning to remove. We suggest leaving your jewellery in a dry, secure location before diving in.

Perfumes, hair sprays, and profuse sweating can also cause a quicker formation of tarnish. Do avoid spraying them directly on your jewellery. For coated gold it'll eventually discolor or fade as well overtime but if you take care of them they'll last longer.

Tarnish vs. Rust
Tarnish only affects the first layer of the metal and is actually known to help protect the deeper layers of your jewellery.

In comparison, rust affects more layers of the metal and is typically a reddish color. Rust occurs when iron is exposed to moisture.

Sterling silver does not rust. Silver jewellery must be compounded with iron, in order for it to rust over time. Sterling silver is typically made with other metals like copper.

How to Keep Sterling Silver From Tarnishing
• Keep jewellery dry as much as possible
• Store your silver jewelry in a cool, dry spot
• Avoid harsh chemicals
• Clean and polish jewellery with cloth provided

• Always keep your spell jars in a cool, dry place •

Spell jars are often sealed with wax, so they are effective as long as the seal isn’t broken completely.

Sometimes drippings of the wax on a spell bottle can break off, however the spell bottle still works and is effective if the top of the seal on the bottle is still intact and unbroken.

Spell jars do not have a specific expiration date but here are some things to note when it has served its purpose and it's ready to be disposed and or replaced.

Damaged Jar
If or when the glass jar breaks or cracks, then the magick and spell in the bottle is shattered and “broken.”

Mouldy or Bugs
When you spot any mouldy contents or bugs in your jar

Energy
When you feel there's a lack of energy when you are working or meditating with your spell jars

Disposal
When you have decided that the spell jar is ready to be disposed of and replaced - avoid reusing anything from the spell jar for magickal purposes.

Depending on the intention of the spell, you can bury the jar on or near your property (to attract/protect) or off your property (to banish/repel).

Protection jars are more likely to experience mouldiness, with bugs appearing or drastic change in wax color eg. black to red, from absorbing negative energies or protecting you from certain unfortunate events.

Abundance or money jars are more likely to experience cracking, breaking or seal being damaged from lid popping upwards, it has already brought you everything it should or you could have.

Love or related jars will have served its purpose when you have already attracted someone intended, and if not, you may choose to continue working with it. Refer to the above notes for signs to replace or dispose them.
