Hey there, beautiful people! My name is Alysha and I am here to craft you up a unique, lighthearted ceremony that is all about YOU! I love traditions, but we can also integrate something different to make your day all about you and your unique story.

I am all about creating a stress-free experience for my couples, from first meeting, to the “I-Do’s” I’ll write your script and do all the legals. I’ll be the calm during any scary bits, your cheerleader and your support gal!

I come with a wealth of knowledge and skills to make your ceremony simply beautiful. In my former life, I was a Primary School teacher. I’ve spoken on stage in front of thousands of people, written hundreds of reports and scripts, uplifted and empowered our world’s little people, and have navigated calmly through countless challenges.

Some key words to describe me: Calm, patient, warm, approachable, organised. I do love a good joke and some banter so I sprinkle that in my ceremonies, too!

We are engaged… now what!?

You’ve said yes, and now the reality of planning a wedding has started. If you’re like many people, you’ve been to lots of weddings but have no idea how to plan your own!

It’s my role take care of the ceremony part for you. That is, I’ll plan how the ceremony will run, from getting legal bits organised months in advance, to the run sheet for your formal wedding ceremony.

First thing’s first, you’ve made it this far and found me! Send me an enquiry by clicking ‘enquire’ on the home page. I want to hear all about your love story and what you want your special day to look like.

Once you’ve enquired, and I confirm I’m available on your wedding day, we will arrange a meeting over Zoom, and we will talk more about the details of your day and I’ll tell you about my processes. This is our chance to see if we vibe and for you to discover that I can make your dream day happen.

From there, you book me in! You’ll then receive my Ceremony Bible with lots of ceremony goodies. You will also complete an online questionnaire which I will use to write a script for your day. Your job is to (if you choose to) start on your personal vows. I’m here to help with those, especially the blokes! I can share the draft script with you or leave it as a surprise on the day.

We will be in touch throughout this process as you may have questions arise or just need some reassurance or a chat, I’m here for you! We will have another meeting to sign the NOIM (Notice of Intended Marriage) which is the first legal document you’ll sign. We will also plan out exactly what your ceremony will look and feel like!

You will receive a copy of your script 3-4 weeks out, so you can check through and get all the feels for how your ceremony will run.

The week of your wedding we will do a quick ceremony run through (either via Zoom or in person) You’ll sign the DONLIM (Declaration of No Legal Impediment) which states that there is no legal reason why you shouldn’t be married, and that you consent to the marriage going ahead.

When the big day comes, I arrive super early, we have your beautiful ceremony, you sign the official marriage certificates, then leave it to me to send them off! You are then free to have your photos taken, do hugs and kisses, begin drinking, however you like to celebrate!

I’ll still be in touch after your ceremony… because I’ll miss you! And also just to keep you updated on any post-ceremony tasks.

Most of my processes are completed online, keeping the ceremony planning part of your journey smooth and stress free.

On your ceremony day, I always arrive super early and tend to hang back, keeping my music playing, until you’ve moved to the next stage of your day.

My duties go beyond officiant! I’m often seen helping out your photographers, delivering you post-ceremony food and drinks, music maestro, dress fixer, furniture arranger and packer-upper.. the list is endless!

You receive my Ceremony Bible with all the info you need for planning and preparing for your wedding ceremony, including timelines, structures, examples and inspiration.

You can hit me up whenever you need- I’m very casual and happy to text, DM, call or email. I also like to keep our meetings relaxed and lighthearted.

I love tradition, but I also offer lots of Individualised ideas and suggestions based on your desired vibe and vision for your ceremony. I use thorough questionnaires to gain a true vision of who you are. I’ll offer lots of advice when writing your personal vows and I’ll have your vow cards personalised for you on ceremony day.

I’ll be cheering you on whilst offering a calming presence throughout your planning and during your ceremony.
