Kory Wells is the author of Sugar Fix, poetry from Terrapin Books. A former software developer, she nurtures connection and community through her writing and advocacy for the arts, democracy, afternoon naps, and other good causes.

Kory mentors poets across the nation through the low residency program MTSU Write. The founder of Poetry in the Boro, a reading and open mic series, she also co-produces a multigenre storytelling series, the Bloom Stage, and has served as the poet laureate of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
