Urban Beauty operates strictly by a ‘No-Deposit, No-Appointment’ policy.
Please be considerate when booking an appointment with us as the deposit is non-refundable. Deposits are non-negotiable as it is used to secure a station and a time slot with a technician.
Booking an appointment means the selected time slot is confirmed for you ONLY and unavailable for other clients to claim for the booked time.
An upfront, non-refundable deposit is required per booking. Deposits will be 50% of the total service cost (*service with a cost that ‘varies’ will be subjected to a fixed deposit amount; calculated at the confirmation stage). The value of the deposit will be deducted from your total service on the day of your appointment.
Clients who have pre-pay membership:
Please use ‘VIP only’ category when you book online to avoid getting double charged. The applicable amount will come off your credit in line with the policy.
You may change or reschedule your booking by:
* Contacting us via phone or SMS up to 48 hours before your appointment (022 174 9969)
* Logging into our booking system up to 72 hours before your appointment (link in our instagram bio or attached to the confirmation email)
You may save the deposit to your account to be used against a future appointment given at least 48/72 hours notice.
✦ ✦ Cancellation & Reschedule ✦ ✦
We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.
**72 hours for appointments that are 3 hours or more in total, or group bookings.
Cancellations within 48/72 hours will result in a forfeit of the deposit. No refunds will be processed.
Cancellations within 12 hours will result in a forfeit of the deposit and the remaining balance for the booked service will be invoiced. This amount is to be paid in full to avoid further actions.
No-show will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Failure to show up to your appointment will result in a forfeit of your deposit and the remaining balance for the booked service will be invoiced. This amount is to be paid in full to avoid further actions. An upfront payment will be required for future appointments.
Any history of no-show, last minute cancellation or consistent cancellations (3 or more in a row) will result in your account to be flagged. Future appointments are expected to be paid in full at the time of booking.
We reserve the right to cancel your appointment at any time.
✦ ✦ Making changes to your appointment ✦ ✦
Changes to the original appointment for a shorter service duration within 48/72 hours will incur a $20 fee.
E.g. Booking for Gel Manicure + Design, changing to plain Gel Manicure during or within 48 hours of the appointment.
E.g. Booking for Classic Wispy Lash extensions, changing to Classic Natural Lash extensions.
We have implemented these policies to ensure fairness across all our clients and staff. We will be strictly following these policies to ensure that our clients are receiving the highest quality service on every appointment and to ensure the team is receiving their required rest breaks throughout the day.
There is an estimated duration for each service selected when booking online. Please reach out to the team if there is uncertainty around appointment timing or if you are running under a tight schedule.
✦ ✦ Running late for your appointment ✦ ✦
To ensure punctual service for all clients and limiting excess wait times; lateness or delays to appointment start times will be at the cost of the client (quality/design).
No discounts will be given for shortened appointments due to client lateness.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for the start of your appointment you will be marked as a no-show and your deposit will be forfeited.
Please call us (022 174 9969) at least 15 minutes before your appointment if you’re running late.

You may cancel/reschedule your booking up to 72 hours before your appointment via our online booking. Use ‘Manage My Bookings’ tab in the link in Instagram bio.
Changes to your appointment within 48 hours must be made through contacting the salon directly through the number provided

*Text messages/social media may not be checked and hence unreliable for appointment communications within 48 hours of the booking, and may result in your forfeiting your deposit.

Please always indicate your preferred technician at the time of booking if you wish to be scheduled with a specific staff member.
If ‘No preference’ is selected, we will allocate your appointment with the next available technician. This can include technicians of any experience (junior/inter/senior/director). Scheduling will pend on availability and subject to change.

We have introduced tiered pricing based on each technician’s level of experience. Appointments are subjected to variation in quality and time pending on the technician.
Please specify the technician at the time of your booking if you wish to confirm a specific price range. If left specified, pricing will be charged accordingly without exception.
Please reach out to the team if you wish clarify which technician to book for and quality differences PRIOR to securing your appointment.
✦ ✦ Nail Fixing ✦ ✦
The retention of any nail enhancement varies between people as it highly depends on how you use your hands, chemical exposure, and many other factors such as excessive sweating or oil production.
Gel polish can lift & chip if they are not looked after.
Fixing is free of charge within 7 days of your appointment *if you miss the free fix appointment, the following fix appointment will be charged.
Fixes outside of the 7 day timeframe will incur a charge.
Fixing will be charged if the damage is not from natural wear and tear or aftercare instructions were not followed.
