Art as Motivation

A group of students who wants to motivate others through there passion and hobbies in life.

Art, when we hear the word art what comes first in our mind? Painting, drawing, sculpture, and images. If you'll ask Google what is art it will tell you that art is the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.

But art is more than that, Art can be a living thing, it can be a possession, a doing and it can also be voices never been heard before. Art is an act of expressing your feelings, thoughts, and observations.

Art is the beautiful scenery that we imagine we ourselves could be, the scenery we dream's to be, our hobbies that turns into passion. A passion burning through our human soul.

Yet sometimes there will be struggles, challenges and opponent that will be face onto us. There's no assurance that the art we've been nourishing won't burn, burn into it's own downfall.

We are a group of students who wants to use our hobby and passion as an art to motivate other's.

Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life. ~Wayne Dyer

Fangirls are not just fangirls we are dreamers.

One of my hobbies is fangirling into kpop idols. Some people ask of what can I get to them? When I can't even understand what they're saying, and sometimes they make this as a joke. But little they didn't know that those idols give us comforts that we couldn't find in our relatives or friends. They're the one who gives us happiness whenever we are down. They inspire and motivate me or their fans through their awesome music. They give us strength in every thing we do. Others might say that we can't understand it, well all we can say is that if you want it there's a way and that is english subtitle. Don't judge people on what they do or what they want because you dont know how those things make the best memories out of every fan girl, it so much valuable and important to them.

In your life only your decisions are the correct answer.

My hobby is watching korean dramas every day. I don't have any problem by watching in fact I love it. But sometimes I forget to do my activities, assignments in the our online class especially the housework so I get scolded but I cannot put the blame in the kdrama movies that I watch, its my fault, my own action. I dont wanna tolerate that kind of doing so I made a plan to organized the things I need to do before watching. Instead of kdrama being a distraction for me I did not let that happen. I made it as my inspiration and motivation.

You have always been enough.

~Aurora Navarro

Doing calligraphies and capturing sceneries are my passion and admiring others' arts like stories, drawings and music is my hobby. Calligraphy is the art of making beautiful handwriting. Photography is the art, process, or job of taking pictures with a camera. Therefore, art is something that is created with imagination and skill and that is beautiful or that expresses important ideas or feelings.

While doing your passion or hobbies, ask yourself. Is it good for you? or... Do your works will satisfy other people? Well, personally, doing my passion and hobbies are my antidepressants. It makes my mental health healthy. So now, what do you think the reason for your stress or getting depressed over your hobbies and passions? It is because you are always considering other people's opinions and judgments. Yes, I know that we all have different pain tolerance and not all of us are strong enough to take these judgments. But that's why I'm here giving advice, and you're here to read this because you want to be inspired, learn some lessons and realize something that makes you always upset. If considering other's judgment is making you unmotivated, less confident, or anxious then don't consider their opinions. You are making your own art. You are doing that for your own good. And your arts are beautiful, not all people can do that though so be proud of it. All arts are beautiful on their own.

On the other hand, since you can't please everyone. Those judgements can also be your inspiration. Just always remember that you are stronger than you think and tough time doesn't last, tough people do. So please, continue what you are doing because all arts matter and so are you.

The journey of a lifetime starts with the turning of a page.

Reading and writing stories are my hobby, I am always fascinated on how a book could create great impact in our lives, how it could take as to a different location and dimension. I am always amazed how it exercise my imagination and creative thinking. It always touches my soul on how a character could evolve in that book. That me for myself becomes motivated.

Doing this things might seem boring to others but I find comfort while reading and most of the time writing my own story, when I feel down or stressed in life I would read until I forgot the worries in my life. When I feel suffocated by the world I write down my feeling and turn it into a story. In that way it eases the burden in my heart. I tried doing different things because I was afraid that people would find me boring or a nerdy in doing this stuff but it just made things worse, so I thought to myself why would I changed my hobby and the things I like in life just for someone else. I love doing this things, it brings out the best in me, it makes me want to have courage to speak my opinions in life, my thinkings the random things that I always wrote on a paper and yet never been heard. It seems quite complicated but this hobby of mine deepen to the point that it became a burning passion wanting to be pursue.

So to all those individuals who are having a difficulty not just in their hobby but with their passion to, All I can say is never give up. Continue doing what you love, continue your hobby if that's the only way to escape this crazy world and never stop pursuing your passion if that's what makes you happy.

The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.

My hobby is playing basketball, since I was 9 years old basketball is one of my hobby. When I was a kid, I wanted to play for school, people from other schools could compete, but I can’t get in because I don’t have a strength to get into varsity. When I was in high school grade 7, 8, 9 I watch our school players and I told my self that one day I will be one of them who can play for our school. And when I got to grade 10, I tried out to school and my coach decided that I have a potential and so it happened I was chosen to be on the team. I was very happy to hear that I was accepted and that I could play at our school. The district division has started, we are against Parang High School. Unfortunately my right foot was accidentally sprain. I didn’t play in the next few games. Other students from my school said that I am not deserving to be a varsity player. I am truly hurt by what I heard, but I didn't let it listen to them. I have my classmates that told me that “You can do that, we believe you”. And I believe them, then I rest for two weeks. We are against Marikina High School, we won there and the coach was overjoyed.

“As long as someone believes in you, go ahead. Do not let others judgement or affect you. Prove to them that you can. Along with negatives comments comes a great lift."
