I’m a Traditional Homebirth Doula from Southern Illinois! I walk with women through the seasons of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. We build connection while discussing nutrition, breaking down fears and diving into whatever topics resonate with you the most as the mother.

I truly believe in undisturbed birth. Birth is sacred and should be treated like it! I don’t view birth as a medical event. I do not practice medicine and I’m not licensed. This is intentional! If you choose to also hire a Homebirth Midwife, I’ll work with your team to support you however you feel is best.

My dive into physiologic birth started when I became pregnant with my son in 2021 and I’ve been on fire ever since!

The second you decide you’d like me to walk with you, I become available to you 24/7! You can call or message me ANY time to discuss anything.

We will meet for multiple connection sessions each trimester to talk about the physiology of birth & break down any fears or concerns you may have. I’ll witness you birth in whatever (non medical) way feels most supportive for you. Hip squeezes, nourishment, chasing your toddler or just holding your hand. I’ll clean up the birth mess and feed you post birth and then I’ll walk with you through your first 40 days postpartum. I offer vaginal steaming, placenta exploration + burial, body massage, house chores, meal prep or we can sit and have tea/coffee while you tell me the story of your birth.

If you aren’t wanting an extra body in your birth space/prefer to Freebirth but still would like someone besides your partner to make you a meal and clean up your birth space, I’d be happy to show up post birth.

If you ask me to attend your birth solely as the Photographer, we will meet atleast once (in person) prior to your birth to discuss preferences and get to know each other a bit.

The “fly on the wall” package is where I show up to your birth quietly. I won’t touch you and I won’t talk during your sacred journey through labor and immediate postpartum.

I’m committed to NO flash photography. You birth exactly how you’d like in whatever lighting and I’ll work with what I’m given. I’ll stick around a bit after the birth to capture the golden hour and I’ll hand deliver your photos on a flash drive when I come to check-in on you postpartum 💞

If you’re feeling like you don’t want an extra body in your birth space but still want golden hour photography, I’d be happy to show up post birth and quietly capture those moments for you.
