Hello, I’m Xanta

Having traversed more than three decades in this mundane world, I've unearthed myriad treasures along the way: the love of my family, the bond with my husband, the majesty of parenthood bestowed upon me, the delights of culinary experiences, the enchantment of music, the richness of diverse languages, the wisdom found within books, and the profound beauty of love in all its forms, including boys' love.

Yes, you heard it right. I am an avid reader and a bibliophile, reading & collecting mostly Japanese manga, Korean manhwa and Chinese Danmei novels. Occasionally, I listen to audio dramas as well. I love sharing my thoughts on the novels I devour by writing reviews on Tumblr and Goodreads. In addition, I record my reading journey and reactions through my reading threads on X/Twitter.

I indulge in a wide range of genres without any restrictions, freely exploring whatever piques my curiosity; so I am open to recommendations. I'll definitely try my best to find some time to check out those recommended novels and manga.

Not all the novels received 5-star ratings from me, but they're ones I genuinely enjoyed and think deserve more recognition in the danmei fandom. Some of them haven't been translated into English yet, and I hope fan translators consider picking them up. However, I urge against using machine translation or edited mtl, as it could dilute the essence of the story.

Now, I've found balance by alternating between novels and manga, allowing me to tailor my reading experience to suit my mood. As the popularity of Korean manhwa and Chinese manhua continues to soar, my curiosity and interest have expanded even further.
